Andrew's in First Grade!!

Andrew started First Grade on Tuesday, Aug 17, 2010.  This year is different because he will be there all day.  He's excited and his first week was great!  He's already looking forward to Monday.

Summer 2010

We had a wonderful Summer.  Here are the highlights:

Odin had kittens in April.

This is our little Keller "The Deaf Cat"

Two strays wandered up.

Aubrey got a new bed.

We grew our first tomato.

And ate it...

Harold and I celebrated our ninth anniversary

Went to VBS (at our church and with a friend)

The best time was at Lakefest in Marble Falls!

Another trip to the dentist...

Andrew chose the cherry flavored "shiny" toothpaste for him and his sister.  So far, all of our dental visits have been uneventful - neither of them have had a cavity.  Dr. V expects that Andrew will start to lose his teeth in the next 6 months or so.  He also mentioned that it could be longer since he was a late teether.  Aubrey is getting her 2 year molars and they're terrible!  Tylenol is a must in our house.

Andrew started Kindergarten this year. Here are a couple of pictures of him on his first day.

He has to wear a uniform this year. Solid color polo and khaki or navy shorts or pants.


Yippee! Kindergarten! Transformers backpack and lunch box! More importantly, both have Bumblebee - his favorite.
